Also the way it plays out, at least on VH, means you're likely to be doing a lot of battles with a Kroxigor-heavy army, which is fun to watch (death roll!!!!) but not exactly tactically complex or engaging gameplay-wise. I do like the idea of the Defenders, and that mechanic works pretty well (instant 14-unit garrison with walls can hold off all but the most aggressive attackers even on VH where doomstacks are common), but overall I found him to be one of the less-fun hordes I played. What's particularly funny is that you can tech and building up so you could potentially field what, 10+ armies? But you'll never have the cash to field more than two (not with real units in them) before you win the game (certainly on Vortex - even in a big slow ME game I'd be shocked if you could field more than 3, maybe 4 at the outside, before you'd won). I mean, he's fun as a character, but the campaign was basically just doing a big damn spiral through Lustria, taking it over (or working with Itza/Hex), whilst gritting my teeth about money issues which mean that you basically can't afford to field a second army until long after it's ceased mattering.
Having just finished a Nakai VH/N Vortex campaign, I'd have to vote against him.
